The Illinois Fire Service Institute (IFSI) is proud to serve as the statutory fire academy for Illinois. We are committed to offering premier training that exceeds state and national standards. As Academy Program Director, I pledge that our focus also remains steadfast on meeting the training expectations and needs of departments. Our goal is to prepare personnel effectively and efficiently for the inevitable demands and challenges of the profession. We recognize the importance of building trust and strong communication channels with candidates and department leadership.
As Academy Program Director, I am proud to lead an incredible team of professionals that support the training and education needs of the program. Academy Instructors represent departments from across Illinois and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the training grounds. Our entire team is focused on delivering quality educational experiences for every candidate. We do not take our position as the State Fire Academy lightly.
