Instructor

Program Description

The Illinois Fire Service Institute offers three courses focused on the area of instructor training and development.

Fire Service Instructor I, II, & III meet the current National Fire Protection Association 1041 Standard. Levels I & II are approved by the Pro Board. Fire Service Instructor classes are taught by professional, knowledgeable, and skilled instructors. Fire Service Instructor classes bring the current trends of instruction to best prepare students for today's challenges and to build tomorrow's fire service leaders.

Fire Service Instructor courses are offered in traditional and blended formats to meet the challenging scheduling needs of career, volunteer, and combination departments. Important for our out-of-state students and federal employees, Pro Board Accreditation allows for portability of course certifications.
