Certificates and Grades

How do I check my grades and obtain my certificates?

Your student records are available online inside the Resource Center. If you need help logging in to the Resource Center, click here: Resource Center Help.

After successfully logging in to the Resource Center, you should see the student page and have access to the class dashboard tab where you can see any current or future Online Classes you're enrolled in. You will also have access to your course history tab where you can find your grades and certificate links. Clicking on any link that says "Certificate" will download a PDF copy of your certificate after you have completed a CEQ for the course you attended.

Resource Center

What is the Resource Center?

The Student and Staff Resource Center is the section of the IFSI website that allows you to access your grades and certificates, as well as your online classes, IFSI billing history, and personal information you have on file with us.

How do I access the Resource Center?

To access the Resource Center click on the person icon in the upper right hand corner of the website navigation bar. On that page you will be asked to log in.

"I'm a student and I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?"

First and foremost, carefully read any error messages you are receiving. If you recieve a message about an incorrect password, then please reset your password using the form found here: Student Password Reset

If the message says "We couldn't find an account matching that information in our system", make sure that you have entered your Driver's License Number correctly. If you're still having problems, you will need to contact Class Support at (217) 333-3800 to verify our records are correct.

Searching and Registering for Courses

How do I find courses?

Hovering or clicking on the Courses heading in the menu bar will expose the Course Search/Enroll page. Enter your search terms and hit search to find courses relevant to your interests. If you wish, there is a more advanced search available on the page where you can search by calendar or county.

Additionally under the Programs menu, you will find a list of all of our Programs of instruction. Clicking on a program will take you to a page with general information about the program and also a list of courses that are found within that program.

Lastly, you can use the Search button in the upper right hand side of the website to bring up a quick search field that will allow you to search for courses.

How do I enroll in a class?

Using one of the various methods of finding courses should eventually lead you to a schedule of classes. Clicking on a date/location for a specific class should bring up a window giving you more details about the class. From there you can choose to either register online or fill out a paper form and fax it to us.

To register online you will need to fill out a form and provide a Chief's PIN to complete the registration.

What is a Chief's PIN and why do I need it?

To take classes with IFSI we need proof that your department has authorized you to take the training. On the paper form, the chief's signature is that proof.

In the Online world we need you to supply the special PIN that we issued your department. If your department hasn't set up a Chief's Pin with us before, the Chief will need to fill out the Fire Chief PIN Authorization form and mail it to us.

If you have a PIN but have lost it, please contact IFSI Class Support at (217) 333-3800.
