Hands Only CPR with AED : 1.00 Hours
COVID-19 Update: We have resumed offering this course with several modifications to maximize the safety of our students and instructors (see COVID-19 Safety Notice). Please email email@example.com if you have any questions!
The Hands-Only (HO) CPR and AED class is intended for individuals who do not have previous CPR/AED training or want a refresher course. HO CPR is a simplified and effective form of resuscitation which emphasizes the importance of chest compressions. Immediate CPR through chest compressions can double or triple a person's chance of survival, which makes it a vital skill to know. This class covers how to approach an unresponsive person, call for help, initiate CPR, and how to apply and use an AED when one becomes available. This course doesn't give any certification, it is just basic training.
Registration and Payment:
Registration: Organizations or departments interested in creating a group class must email firstname.lastname@example.org. After completion of a course agreement, a private class will be set up. Classes typically last ~1 hour.
Payment: The organization or department that sets up the class will be billed through their CFOPAL number for the whole group. The cost is $8/student.
If individuals in the group choose to cancel their participation in the CPR class, please have them e-mail IEMS at email@example.com and let us know as soon as possible. IEMS reserves the right to still charge for that person if they do not notify us in writing at least 24 hours before the class begins.
