This course addresses all responsibilities appropriate to a SPUL operating in a local or state level All-Hazards IMT. The course is an all-hazard, instructor led training that supports learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercises. The terminal learning objective of this course is to prepare participants to demonstrate, through exercises and final exam, an understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective SPUL on an AHIMT.
IFSI prerequisites are based on Illinois and NFPA standards. Equivalencies from other agencies will be reviewed upon request.
