Hazardous Materials Awareness Challenge Exam - Skills Assessment : 1.00 Hours

Course Description

The Challenge Exam for the NFPA Hazardous Materials Awareness is designed to give trained responders the opportunity to obtain national certification. Evaluations include a written exam and one skill evaluation. Upon successful completion of this objective process, national certification is awarded to the candidate, and the candidate’s name will be entered in both the IFSAC and ProBoard registries.

Written Test: Candidates are given one attempt to pass the written exam. Additional attempts at the written exam can be scheduled at a regional test site at a later date. There will be an additional fee for written exam retakes.

Skills Testing: The skill is evaluated and is referenced to NFPA 470 JPRs. Candidates are given two attempts at the skill evaluation.
