The Continuing Education for Current Fire Investigators Course is for experienced fire investigators. The class will cover the documentation of the fire scene and collecting evidence for a fire scene investigation according to NFPA 1033 and 921 practices. Instructors will address photographing the scene, diagramming the fire scene, evidence collection, and sources of information. The course will balance classroom discussion with hands-on application of material.
Work clothes, foot and eye protetion, and work gloves ar required. Students are encouraged to bring cameras and forms currently being used within their departments.
