Many IFSI classes and programs are meet the requirements for certification through the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Additionally, in some cases the IFSI end-of-course exam is equivalent to the OSFM exam, saving your department time and money by allowing the firefighter to take one exam that meets both IFSI course completion and OSFM certification requirements.
