Course Details

This AHA BLS Course is a Blended Learning course (online portion, followed by a hands-on skills session to be taken individually). The online portion typically takes around 3 hours and the hands-on skills session typically takes 30 minutes. This skills session uses a Voice Assisted Manikin which provides real-time feedback during each skill.

This course trains students on how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, how to provide high-quality CPR (for adults, children, and infants), how to deliver appropriate ventilations, and discusses AED usage. The content and skills discussed in this course reflect the latest updates provided by the American Heart Association.

Upon completion of the hands-on skills session, students will receive the BLS Provider Course Completion eCard, which is valid for two years.

The in-person skills portion does not take place at the listed time on the registration page or confirmation email. Each skills portion is individually scheduled with the BLS Class Coordinator over email.
