Incident Summary

On August 10, 1907, Lieutenant William McCullum of Hook and Ladder Company No. 14 of the Chicago Fire Department died from injuries after being hit by the apparatus of his company while responding to a fire alarm from Station 371.

Lieutenant McCullum became a member of the Department December 31, 1892 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant December 31, 1906.
