Course Description

Rescue Task Force, a patient-centric approach to life-saving, is an aggressive response to an active shooter incident that provides rapid medical treatment at the point of injury.  This class introduces and trains the Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter, or EMS provider in the concepts and tactics needed during the joint response rescue phase of an Active Shooter Event.  Students learn the tatics necessary to enter and operate in the "warm" zone with a Law Enforcement cover element vital to responder safety, allowing performance of their mission while keeping the risk as low as reasonably achievable.
