AHA HeartCode BLS CPR: Hybrid
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider (AHA BLS Provider) course is intended for healthcare professionals or students of health professions. Also, it is required for those wanting to volunteer with IEMS as an EMT-B or EMS Aide.
COVID-19 Update: All previously scheduled AHA HeartCode BLS CPR: Hybrid in-person classes are canceled until further notice. However, we are continuing to offer AHA BLS Education with our Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM) option. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Registration and Payment
Part 1: This class requires students to purchase an online code from the AHA website (https://elearning.heart.org/course/21) to complete the online portion prior to their in-class portion. Upon completion, students will choose on their screen to complete their in-person skills session in a structured instructor-led course (from IEMS).
Part 2: Registration for in-class portion must be done through the buttons below. Students must bring their online certificate of completion to class to participate.
The class fee is a total of $53.50
- $28.50 paid on the AHA website for the online portion
- $25 paid to IEMS for the in-class portion (students will receive the bill after class is completed)
If you should choose to cancel your CPR class, please e-mail IEMS at email@example.com and let us know as soon as possible. IEMS reserves the right to charge for the class if you do not notify us in writing at least 24 hours before the class begins. Please note that classes in which less than 4 students are enrolled 24 hours before the course will be rescheduled for a later date; as such, please do not sign up for a course the day before you need your certification.
