Illinois Fire Service Institute



The Illinois Fire Service Institute's National Incident Management System Program (NIMS) offers training in Incident Managament Training to response organizations throughout the State of Illinois. Program courses focus on advanced training for the eight command and general staff positions and the development of incident action plans to support preparedness, response and recovery activities at the local and state level.

**Orland Fire Protection District and Cook County Department of Homeland Security have agreed to provide tuition support for credentialed members of statewide specialized teams recognized by IEMA or employees of fire departments in the following Illinois counties: Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, McHenry, and Kane.
