Bio:Robert serves as a Curriculum Support Specialist in IFSI’s Curriculum and Testing Office. He joined the Curriculum and Testing Office full time in 2014 after having served part time with IFSI in that office since 2012 and the Fire Investigation training program since 2006. In his position, Robert concentrates on Curriculum Development, Management and Modification. Robert also assists the Testing office with varying tasks and continues to support the Fire Investigation program.
Robert received his Associates Degree in Fire Service Technology from Parkland College in December of 2003 and his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Service Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in May of 2010. He has completed a Graduate Certificate in Fire and Emergency Services while working towards his Master’s Degree in Safety and Emergency Management through Eastern Kentucky University.
Robert was previously employed with the Champaign Police Department in a civilian support role, and has past volunteer experience in fire and EMS operations. He has completed State Fire Marshall’s Office certifications in Firefighter II/Hazmat Awareness, Fire Investigator and Fire Service Instructor I. He continues to assist the Savoy Fire Department in a reserve role, assisting with that department’s hiring process.
