Job Description:

As Director of Marketing, Mary is responsible for identifying marketing opportunities and developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies. In her role, she produces the annual printed calendar, semi-annual newsletters, marketing brochures and mailers. She also contributes to updating of the IFSI web site as a marketing tool and is responsible for the marketing budget. Mary serves as a contractor to the Illinois Fire Service Institute.

Professional Service:

• More than 30 years experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for a diverse range of industries, including fire service, agriculture, petroleum, chiropractic and manufacturing among others.
• Member, Board of Directors for C-U Independence, Inc./Prairie Homes, Inc., joint organizations that oversee independent living for persons with disabilities.
• Appointed Member, East Central Human Rights Authority division of the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission.
• Volunteer, Marketing Committee, Champaign County Disability Expo
• Travels extensively, domestically and internationally, to officiate as All Breed Cat Judge, affiliated with the Cat Fanciers’ Association, the world’s largest registry of purebred cats.
• Served as Director of Global Soy Forum, an international conference that drew more than 1800 participants from 63 countries.
