Job Description: As Director of Budget and Resource Planning, Marcia Miller is responsible for management of IFSI’s annual $8 million operating budget and IFSI’s capital budget. Marcia also serves as the senior planning officer and provides strategic direction for the Institute’s long-term development and use of its resources. Professional Service: • More than 30 years of experience in all aspects of business management and administration. • Volunteer, Incident Management Assistance Team, Finance Section. • Member, Board of Directors for the University of Illinois Employees Credit Union, a $160 million financial institution that serves the people of Champaign County. • Member, Board of Directors for the Fire Service Women of Illinois, a not-for-profit organization that advances education in the fire service. • Served as Assistant Director for Administration and Human Resources for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. • Managed human resources operations for a privately-held information technology firm.
