Bio:Lew Lake serves as the Program Director for Officer Training at IFSI. In that role, Lew is responsible for program development and overseeing and scheduling classes for advanced Fire Officer training. He oversees officer classes statewide as well as the Chicago Intensified Officer Training Program for the Chicago Fire Department.Lew has been a member of the Wheaton Fire Department since 1991 and a field instructor for IFSI since 2001. He holds leadership positions in the Wheaton Fire Department as a Battalion Chief and currently serves as the IFSI Library Committee Chairman. Lew graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Service Management. Lew is a native of Oak Lawn and is a proud fourth generation firefighter. |
