Fire Officer Program

Program Description:

The Illinois Fire Service Institute offers more than 25 Fire Officer Training courses, which are designed to provide the fire officer with the knowledge and skills necessary to function in command and leadership positions. Many of the officer courses are also offered inabbreviated versions; however they may not meet the requirements for certification from the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal. For the convenience of our students, some Officer classes are offered on weekends in local departments.
