RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are a method of publication on websites. They allow users to "subscribe" to the feed to receive new/updated content automatically sent to their feed reader -- usually a web browser or email client. This allows our users to find up-to-date offerings without heading over to the website.
IFSI's feed offerings are listed below. Please feel free to subscribe to them!
New CoursesPlease note that RSS feeds are only viewable in an RSS reader, sometimes called an aggregator. Viewing directly in an unsupported web-browser will result in seeing only code and not the way the feed was meant to be displayed.
One freely available rss reader is a "My Yahoo" page. They have more information on using their page as a reader here.
There are other readers available that plugin to your email client, becoming a part of MS-Outlook/Outlook Express/Thunderbird, and also the upcoming release of Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox already supports feeds as "Live Bookmarks."
The addition of this method of finding upcoming classes is just another way IFSI is looking ahead and creating new methods to provide the most up-to-date info to students and departments at all times. If you have any comments or suggestions please email the webmaster!
